Therapy with Becca FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
A few plain-language answers about fit, approach, online therapy, and what happens when you reach out.
Who do you work with?
I work with clients navigating anxiety, chronic overthinking, depression shaped by work stress, burnout, emotional exhaustion, low self-esteem, confidence struggles, family conflict, relational stress, fertility journey concerns, LGBTQIA+ identity-related stress, emotional regulation challenges, and major life transitions.
What approaches do you use?
I draw from Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered techniques, CBT, DBT-informed skills, and poetry-informed or story-oriented reflection when helpful. I use these flexibly based on the person and the moment, rather than applying one rigid framework to every client.
Do you offer online therapy?
Online therapy may be available depending on licensure and location requirements. We can talk through fit and logistics during consultation.
How do I know if this is the right fit?
A consultation can help us talk through what is bringing you in, what kind of support you are looking for, and whether working together feels like a good fit.
What if I need a different kind of support?
If it seems like another clinician would be a better match, I can help point you toward additional options through Peace Love Wellness.
Are you part of Peace Love Wellness?
Yes. Becca Strickland, MHC-LP, is part of the broader Peace Love Wellness practice and practices under clinical supervision within it.
Ready to talk?
Starting therapy does not require having everything figured out.
If something here feels familiar, reach out for a consultation and we can talk through fit, questions, and next steps.
